Sure, Hogwarts taught the Harry Potter kids how to use a wand and make a shrinking potion -- but those wizards seem to have skipped American Culture 101! In a hilarious new video from MTV (a follow-up to last year's American accent challenge), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows -- Part 2 stars Rupert Grint, Tom Felton and Matthew Lewis get schooled in American films, slang and Miley Cyrus hits. Watch the video below!
As far as we're concerned, Felton, 23, is the hands-down winner of the challenge. He knows that George Washington is the guy on the dollar bill, and can convincingly say "boo-yah" (if not "brewskies"). Sure, he thinks Robert Pattinson is named Edward Cullen and is American and that Kim Kardashian is Jennifer Lopez, but that's just -- well, hilarious. And we love that he decided to rap "Party in the U.S.A." Perhaps he wasn't joking about that rap career?
Poor Rupert Grint, on the other hand, won't be getting cast in any American roles -- or music videos! -- anytime soon. But the 22-year-old has got his own sort of charm, so he'll probably be fine.
It's a pity that they couldn't get Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson in the studio this year, as Radcliffe has the best American accent of the cast -- and watching Watson stumble over the word "mozzarella" was priceless. If you missed the previous video, check it out below!
