Nikki Reed & Paul McDonald: Studio City Runners
Tending to their daily workout routine, happy couple Nikki Reed and Paul McDonald were spotted on a jog through Studio City, California this morning (June 29).
Clad in a black ball cap, gray top, cropped black pants and gray tennis shows, the "Twilight" stunner kept close to her "American Idol" man as they duo ran a steady pace.
In career news, Nikki recently opened up about one her favorite scenes in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2."
?Well, you never know what?s going to end up in there. Let?s see ? There was a pretty kick-ass battle sequence that I did with two of the other girls that I think should be pretty cool, if they leave it in there,? Nikki dished. ?So I?m looking forward to that ?cause we trained for it for a while.?
Reed later added, ?[We did] a little fight training. It was me and Ashley [Greene] and Kristen [Stewart], and we did this like three girls back-to-back thing where we beat up some huge dudes. That?s always fun.?

President Obama Praises Supreme Court Health Care Ruling; Celebrities Tweet Reactions
After the U.S. Supreme Court upheld Obamacare on Thursday, the President who fought and sacrificed for the controversial law praised the 5-4 ruling.
While the court placed limitations on Congress' power to regulate commerce and the U.S. government's ability to restrict state funds, the law stood.
The survival of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) - pejoratively or affectionately called Obamacare - signaled a major victory for Barack Obama.
"Today's decision was a victory for people all over this country whose lives are more secure because of this law," Obama said in a televised statement.
"I know the debate over this law has been divisive," he added. "It should be pretty clear that I didn't do this because it was good politics."
"I did it because I believe it is good for the country."
Obama encouraged on his Twitter account for Americans to share what the Supreme Court ruling means to them and some celebrities did just that.

<P>Given the incredibly fast-paced, blink-and-you-miss-it, flash-in-the-pan, hit-singles-or-bust state of the music industry these days, career longevity is almost as difficult for an artist to achieve as fame and recognition itself. R&B superstar <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/usher/artist.jhtml">Usher</a> is clearly an exception, as Tuesday (June 12) marks the release of the seventh studio album in his 18-year career. <a href="/news/articles/1686990/usher-looking-4-myself-evolution.jhtml">Usher has said</a> that <i>Looking 4 Myself</i> represents an "evolution" for him in several ways, and judging from the positive reviews, critics seem to agree. Without further ado, let's take a tour through the <i>Looking 4 Myself</i> reviews.</P><P><b><big>The Story of "Myself"</big></b><br> "To the list of people who've had mind-altering experiences at Coachella, you can add Usher. In April he was a surprise guest at the music festival, and he says his seventh album, <i>Looking 4 Myself,</i> was inspired by the eclectic acts he saw there, including Euro-disco champs Swedish House Mafia (who produced two songs for <i>L4M</i>) and Aussie synth-rockers Empire of the Sun (who guest on the title track). Even Usher's new look off stage — the Buddy Holly glasses, the facial scruff — suggests that he's warming to indie music. Did he go into Coachella as a Top 40 guy and come out a hipster? Will Black Keys Team Up With Ke$ha? First They Want Jim Nabors
The duo sat down with MTV News in Berlin to discuss a pair of unlikely collaborations.

<P>Theirs is a relationship that has spanned time and Twitter, <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/keshasuxx/status/77286418598211584" target="_blank">seafood</a> and <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/keshasuxx/status/157523381602889728" target="_blank">shaving</a>, but over the years, the unlikely bond between the <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/black_keys/artist.jhtml">Black Keys</a> and <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/id_3213641/artist.jhtml">Ke$ha</a> has grown to become something <i>more</i>: a genuine friendship, marked with the occasional trespassing charge.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Would The Black Keys Ever Collaborate With Ke$ha?" id="vid:731631.id:1678505" width="240" height="211"></div><p></P><P>"We're friends with her, we've known her since way before she was famous, before she was even a singer, I guess," Keys drummer Patrick Carney told MTV News. "When she was 16 years old, she used to sneak into our shows. We kind of became friends with her by kicking her out of our backstage room, over and over again. She actually has snuck into shows in L.A., San Diego, Coachella ..."</P><P>"She snuck in and [got] kicked out of one show, like, <i>five</i> times," frontman Dan Auerbach added. "[She] snuck in through the kitchen. I don't know if she's such a big fan; she just likes breaking the rules."</P><P>So, when MTV News sat down with the 'Keys in Berlin during the premiere of their <a href="/news/articles/1678662/black-keys-gold-on-the-ceiling-music-video.jhtml">"Gold on the Ceiling"</a> video, we had to ask if their friendship with Ke$ha would take the next step: an actual musical collaboration. It's not all that far-fetched, considering both Ke$h and Auerbach live in Nashville ("I see her every once in a while flying by in her T-Top [convertible]," Auerbach laughed), and recently, the glittery one has logged studio time with <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/keshasuxx/status/160846424609787906" target="_blank">the Flaming Lips</a>. So, could we see a team-up on the next Black Keys album?</P><P>"I guess, I don't know," Carney said. "We don't really do that many collaborations, really."</P><P>OK, so if a Ke$ha collabo isn't in the cards, just who would the 'Keys like to work with next? Well, as it turns out, they've got their eyes set on landing a very big star for the next record ... even if they mistakenly believe he's deceased.</P><P>"We both want to work with Jim Nabors very badly, but apparently he's not with us anymore," Carney said. Oh, <a href="http://www.jimnabors.com/" target="_blank">but he is.</a> Which means that, much like Nabors, the dream is alive. The Ke$ha collabo? <P>If there's one positive that <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/lady_gaga/artist.jhtml">Lady Gaga</a> fans can take from her decision to cancel a <a href="/news/articles/1685564/lady-gaga-islam-threat-indonesia-concert.jhtml">June 3 concert in Indonesia</a>, perhaps it's this: at least she'll have more time to work on her album.</P><P>Yes, though she's currently in the midst of a two-year world tour, Gaga is already hard at work on the follow-up to 2011's <i>Born This Way</i> and, according to her co-manager, she's going to push the boundaries even further this time around (which is sure to please those <a href="/news/articles/1685874/lady-gaga-indonesian-concert.jhtml">Indonesian Islamic groups</a>).</P><P>"There's a lot of work to come, [I'm] very excited about it," Vincent Herbert revealed in a <a href="http://thatgrapejuice.net/2012/05/exclusive-lady-gaga-manager-dishes-album/" target="_blank">new interview</a> with website That Grape Juice. "[It's] just [an] insane, great record. She's on tour right now, but it's just going to be a great record. Look out for the unexpected when it comes to her. We're doing it on the road right now, so it's a little hard, but it's going to be great."</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Lady Gaga Has The Title And Concept For Her Next Album" id="vid:717202" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>Herbert wouldn't reveal specifics — tentative release date, title, who she's been working with, etc. — about the new album, but the news that she's recording on the road is actually in keeping with the way she began work on <I>Born This Way,</i> when standout tracks like <a href="/news/articles/1664761/lady-gaga-marry-the-night-fernando-garibay.jhtml">"Marry The Night"</a> took shape with producer Fernando Garibay during her long-running Monster Ball Tour.</P><P>"I just kind of got on the American leg of the tour ... and she goes, 'I want to write another song that can define where I'm at with this album and my life,' " Garibay told MTV News last year. "I go back to the studio bus; I'm just working on parts ... and then, two hours later, she comes offstage and she goes, 'Do you have something to play me?' And I go, 'I do, actually.'</P><P>"So I played her the instrumental for 'Marry the Night,' and she goes, 'Open up a mic,' " Garibay continued. "She starts laying down the whole song, like, off the cuff ... right off the stage, using the energy of that crowd and going into the studio, it was amazing. Justin Bieber 'Really Can Act,' Mark Wahlberg Says
For upcoming basketball movie, Wahlberg tells MTV News he'll push Bieber to get a 'strong performance out of him.'

Clearly, Justin Bieber has a lot going on with the release of his new album Believe, Tuesday's live MTV News special and planning a world tour, but that doesn't mean he's forgotten about fostering his movie career.
Both Mark Wahlberg and Bieber have spoken positively about their planned buddy basketball movie. Wahlberg has said it will be in the vein of the Martin Scorsese-directed "The Color of Money," starring Tom Cruise and Paul Newman, except with Wahlberg playing the older reluctant mentor and Bieber playing a "wisecracking kid who's very talented."
"It's set in [the world of] street hustling basketball," Wahlberg told MTV News recently while he promoted his upcoming comedy "Ted." "Obviously, [Bieber] is a very good athlete. People have seen him on MTV; he can play. But I also really think he can act."
Wahlberg said he's willing to put in the work in order to get a great performance from the young pop star/ aspiring actor.
"There's not going to be any shortage of pushing him in getting that kind of strong performance out of him, if we get to make the movie," Wahlberg said. "We're just going to have to make him realize that he's playing a character so he can't have the same hairdo," he joked.
And is there a chance there will be any singing in the film, à la Wahlberg's crowd-pleasing rendition of the theme from "Octopussy" in "Ted"? "Absolutely not," he said definitively.
Wahlberg said if they can get their scheduling worked out, he hopes to start production next spring, which will give Bieber enough time to get back in the gym and "hooping."
"I'm still working on this movie with Mark Wahlberg," Bieber told us in May. "I don't know what the deal is. Turns out they're rewriting the script or something, trying to make it fit better and stuff.
"It's really cool," he added. "Hopefully, I'll be able to do that as well soon. So, I'll be hooping. I got to get back in the gym. I haven't played basketball in a while. I did a little charity basketball game at Shaq's house for Pencils of Promise. We did a little charity basketball game, and I won."

This is certainly in contrast to the whopping banger "Euphoria," which won't need too much retooling before being added to a SHM set.</P><P>MTV News caught up with Angello this weekend at Las Vegas dance-music mecca XS Nightclub, where he revealed just how these two gems came to be.</P><P>"We did the [2010 American Music Awards performance] with Usher," Angello said. "And then he came to hang out with us in Ibiza. [After that] we were in Atlanta and we were all working together for five days. And then we brainstormed and wrote the records from start to finish."</P><P>As Swedish House Mafia fans are well aware, the holy trinity of house are extremely selective about whom they work with. But the chance to work with a time-tested R&B legend they respect was an opportunity they relished.</P><P>"He's always been a great artist," Angello continued. "He always knows what he wants. Good collaboration, all in all. For us, we'd rather work with someone that we respect than to just work with a big name. It was the same with Pharrell [Williams, on <a href="/news/articles/1643772/pharrell-williams-calls-swedish-house-mafia-necessary-rock-stars.jhtml">SHM's "One (Your Name)"</a>] and Tinie Tempah [on <a href="/news/articles/1647200/axwell-hes-hyped-play-new-yorks-electric-zoo-fest.jhtml">"Miami 2 Ibiza"</a>]."</P><P>While Angello reminded us that "Numb" and "Euphoria" are Usher records, not Swedish House Mafia joints, they ought to hold you SHM fans over until Ax, Seb and Steve deliver their upcoming Australia-inspired <a href="/news/articles/1682265/swedish-house-mafia-single-australia.jhtml">"Emotional" single</a>, which is almost complete.</p>

No, not protecting them from bullying in this cruel world. Actually administering mental and physical bullying. You know, because the property taxes you pay to send Junior to middle school just don't buy you a good enough bullying experience these days.
Why would you ever offer such a thing?
