Vanessa Minnillo Dishes About Showering with Nick Lachey

Nick Lachey is no stranger to having his personal life be made very public. After all, the singer/reality star and his ex-wife Jessica Simpson let us into their home on their hit MTV show Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica.

Now it seems Lachey's love life is once again in the spotlight with his on-and-off again girlfriend (they're currently on) Vanessa Minnillo who shared (maybe a little too much) about their relationship during an interview with Parade.

Minnillo, 29, the host of the reality competition True Beauty, revealed that she and Lachey, 36, spend a lot of quality couple time together ... in the shower.

"We shower, honestly, at least twice a day. We shower in the morning and we shower at some point during the day or before bed. It's so funny because we've turned it into an intimate time for each other," Minnillo told Parade.com.

"We both have our own shower heads. so we just talk while we're soaping up and doing our hair," she said. "It's not a sexual thing and it's not a romantic thing, it just becomes an intimate thing. You're in your full form, so to speak, and you're vulnerable and we just both let our guard down. I've had some of my most intimate conversations with him in the shower." 

So does her beau sing in the shower? "He does. I sing in the shower when he's not there," Minnillo confirms, "When he's preparing for a show or a singing appearance, it's the best because the steam helps relax your vocal chords. It's kind of cute; it's become a routine." 

While Minnillo doesn't seem to have a problem dishing about their relationship in an interview, she is more apprehensive about putting it on screen. When asked if she and Lachey would do their own reality series, she said, "I personally have no desire. Nick has done one before and he was very successful at it and whatever he chooses to do with his future I will support him 100%. But me personally, I don't know. I think that there's something to be said for keeping intimate moments to yourself."
