Looking to be more environmentally friendly, Cate Blanchett was spotted at the ?Greening the Wharf? project announcement in Sydney, Australia today (September 2).
Joined by her husband Andrew Upton and the artistic directors of the Sydney Theatre Company, the ?Curious Case of Benjamin Button? star hammed it up for the paparazzi at the Sydney Harbor locale.
The ?Greening the Wharf? initiative launches a new rainwater harvesting and reticulation system that will provide 100% of non-potable water to all the arts companies at The Wharf.
Cate told press, "Today is a great example of how many helicopters there are in the city of Sydney. But it is a great example of how science and the arts are intimately connected. Both sectors are purveyors of experimentation and the embodiment of the imagination. We're all pleased to bring this innovative engineering technology into our creative lives today and indeed to be a showcase of how such systems can function to great economic and societal benefit. So, have a shower or use the loos."
