Sarah Michelle Gellar?s Ringer Wows Buffy Fans

For Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ringer finally puts a date on her much talked about return to television. The upcoming CW show could be her chance to prove that she is far from type casted by her role as Buffy. In a way, Gellar has worked under the radar for some time now. She has been in a few choice movies, but hasn?t done a whole lot of television. But being the star of the O.G. vampire drama Buffy The Vampire Slayer has given her quite the cult following. Smartly, the series was picked up by CW, a network with a prime audience for her return. It?s safe to say that a great deal of Vampire Dairies fans were once Buffy fiends. They will soon be flooded with previews of the upcoming series, which will most likely capture the attention of former Buffy fans. The thriller looks to be a tad on the serious side for that demographic, but I think they are well primed by shows like VD and One Tree Hill.
