Sandra Bullock -- I'm NOT Dating Ryan Reynolds
WATCH: Lady Gaga "Born This Way" Video
Lady Gaga has outdone herself yet again. In the brand-new video for her latest hit single, "Born This Way," the envelope-pushing pop star portrays the birth of "a race within the race of humanity, a race which bears no prejudice, no judgment, but boundless freedom." In what she describes as "the manifesto of Mother Monster," the pop superstar also depicts the birth of evil in the universe from -- where else? -- between her own legs. Alrighty then!
The seven-minute video is effects-heavy and visually stimulating, and doesn’t disappoint in terms of costume changes. Although a tiny, taut, relatively normal-looking Gaga in her skivvies struts around throughout most of the video, we also see the star donning skeleton makeup and a tuxedo, and then looking quite sinister as some kind of alien surrounded by disembodied heads. Watch for yourself below!
We're not sure if we're as crazy about Gaga's new video as we were about her iconic "Telephone" clip with Beyonce -- but it is intensely watchable. Like her questionably blasphemous video for "Alejandro," "Born This Way" flirts with religion, God and and being born from "capital H-i-m." And, like everything Gaga does, it's bound to spark discussion.

Justin Bieber's Haircut Has 'Been In The Works,' Stylist Says
Bieber worked closely with hairstylist Vanessa Price on his new 'do, which complements his 'very soft hair.'
By James Montgomery
Justin Bieber gets his hair cut
Photo: TMZ
It is, unquestionably, one of the most important stories of our time: Justin Bieber's decision to cut his gloriously swooping hairstyle into a close-cropped new 'do, and the social ramifications thereof.
And while Bieber himself has declared that he "doesn't really care" what folks think of his new look, that hasn't stopped the media from digging deep, covering all the angles in an attempt to ascertain just why JB decided to deny us all the pleasure of gazing upon his famous locks.
The latest example of this comes from People magazine, which interviewed Bieber's "longtime hairstylist" Vanessa Price and dared to ask her the toughest question of all: Why now?
"He was ready," Price said. "Cutting your hair is just part of the evolution and growing process for anyone, and I think he was just ready."
But perhaps grieving Bieber fans can take solace in the fact that this decision wasn't made on the spot. Rather, JB had been considering the change for a while. It was, after all, a pretty big deal.
"We've been talking about it over the last six months or so, more or less," Price said. "It's definitely been in the works for a while."
And once the decision to cut his hair was made, Price said that Bieber maintained a steely focus about just how he wanted his new 'do to look. He worked closely with Price on the cut — his hair has always been a bit of a collaborative effort — and the end result is a haircut for the ages.
"Justin has always been clear about what he wants done. That said, he trusts me to make the right judgment with it, we really orchestrate his hairstyle together," Price said. "He knows what he wants and I know what will work best with his features and hair type ... it's like silk. He has very soft hair [and] I hope it stays that way forever."

The Black Eyed Peas promised a party at the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday (February 6), and the pop supernovas definitely delivered, with a performance teeming with lights, dancers and surprise appearances from celebrity pals.
Following a Chatter.com commercial that showed animated versions of the Peas showing off their social-media skills, the group kicked things off with their 2009 smash "I Gotta Feeling," descending from the ceiling on illuminated platforms onto a stage surrounded by a cluster of dancers clad in white bodysuits. The foursome led the team of fist-pumping troops in "Tron"-like getups, with Taboo sporting an outfit covered in flashing lights, will.i.am rocking a shiny hairpiece, Apl.de.ap wearing huge bright studs and Fergie vamping it up in bling-laden shoulder pads.
When the speaker-busting bass of "Boom Boom Pow" dropped, the dancers dispersed across the field to create arrow-shaped formations as the glow-in-the-dark lights on their suits illuminated the stadium. Then rumored surprise guest Slash of Guns N' Roses rose from below the stage for a "Sweet Child O' Mine" duet with Fergie. The GNR great rocked a finger-searing solo in a studded version of his signature black top hat as more angular platforms and dancers moved across the gridiron. The platforms were bearing scores of marching-band musicians who blasted their horns and pounded away on their drums as the Peas went into "Pump It" and blue lights splashed across the production.
Quick streams of fog heralded the arrival of the Peas' second surprise guest, Usher, who swooped in on a long chain to bust out his will.i.am-assisted joint "OMG." Rocking a sparkly collar on an otherwise all-white ensemble, the R&B hitmaker cranked out several counts of energetic choreography, enlivening moves from his "OMG" video and at one point jumping over Will and landing in a split.
A spray of pyro ushered in the collective's breakout 2003 hit "Where Is the Love?" as the oddly shaped platforms spelled out the word "Love" in bright-red letters. The team of dancers, which appeared to have multiplied to over 100, formed hearts across the field as will updated the lyrics of the smash with lines like, "Obama, let's get these educated."
Then the group jumped ahead to their most recent single, 2010's "The Time (Dirty Bit)," as several back up hoofers rocking cubed helmets joined the Peas onstage and dancers lined up along the gridiron to simultaneously bust out the Running Man, a move which drew cheers from the crowd.
The platinum-selling Peas wrapped up the performance with a reprise of "I Gotta Feeling," as the quartet triumphantly signed off amid of blitz of fog, firepower and flashing lights.
Ripping the halftime show was clearly a touching moment for will, who tweeted beforehand, "Me and apl started the peas when we were 16 yesterday we were dreamin now were livin it. Wow. I'm not crying out of sadness or nervousness its joy and pride and memories and the journey."
And once the crew left the stage, the frontman was not only proud, but pumped. "That was so freakin sick," he wrote. "Wow...!!!"

Rachel Zevita Gets Second Chance In 'American Idol' Top 24
While she couldn't get past Hollywood Week in season six, she sailed all the way to the live shows this year.
By Kara Warner
After weeks of audition rounds and an always grueling and drama-filled Hollywood Week, the field of 327 "American Idol" contestants was narrowed to 24 on Wednesday and Thursday (February 24). Although many fans are still reeling from the unexpected ouster of presumed front-runner Chris Medina, many of the early fan favorites received the happy news that they made it through to the coveted top 24.
One of the lucky 2 dozen is "Idol" repeat hopeful Rachel Zevita, a 21-year-old New Yorker who first made her mark in the show's colorful history books back in season six. Zevita started her season 10 journey during the audition rounds with a performance of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," which didn't exactly wow the judges, but with support from Jennifer Lopez -- who told Zevita that she believed she could do better -- the young opera singer made it through to Hollywood once again and fought her way into the top 24 with impressive performances during Hollywood Week, including her version of the Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby."
Joining Zevita to receive her big news were her mother and 83-year-old grandmother, who flew in all the way from New York. Naturally, Ryan Seacrest couldn't resist flirting a bit with dear old grandma, possibly trying to ease the tension surrounding her granddaughter's big will-she-or-won't-she-make-it moment.
Zevita met the judges dressed in a slightly quirky ensemble of almost all black, complete with a tiny silver tie and feathers on her shoes, which prompted Steven Tyler to ask if she could fly.
"I hope so," Zevita answered nervously.
The judges then spent a few nerve-racking minutes addressing a few things Zevita needs to work on, including finding herself, wanting to see her true spark, etc. Finally, Zevita heard the good news that she was in. Her reaction was total disbelief.
"I can't thank you enough. I can't believe it!" she said, with tears starting to pool in her eyes. "I did it!" she exclaimed as she walked out of the room to greet her family.
"They want all of me!" she told them, and everyone enjoyed a warm group hug.

Chris Cornell Filling In For Robert Plant On Led Zeppelin Tour? That's News To Him
'I have not been approached to fill in for Robert Plant on the Zeppelin tour, but that isn't to say I won't be,' singer says.
By Chris Harris
Former Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell has spoken out for the first time about rumors that he's been asked to fill in for Robert Plant on a proposed Led Zeppelin reunion tour. The trek would feature original guitarist Jimmy Page, original bassist John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham taking over on drums for his late father, John Bonham.
Cornell has been mentioned — along with Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar, White Stripes mastermind Jack White and Alter Bridge's Myles Kennedy — as a potential Plant fill-in. Plant has already said that he wouldn't take part in the tour.
"I have not been approached so far to fill in for Robert Plant on the upcoming Zeppelin tour, but that isn't to say I won't be," Cornell told MTV News. "I've heard that from about 200 people now, and it might be one of those situations where it's just an online rumor or it might be true. But if you see anyone from Led Zeppelin around, let me know. I think I should actually fill in for Jimmy Page on the Robert Plant/ Alison Krauss tour."
Cornell's denial comes just a day after Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford confirmed reports that frontman Steven Tyler recently met with Zeppelin for an impromptu jam session. "They did it for fun," Whitford said during an appearance on the syndicated show "Todd N Tyler Radio Empire." "I actually think Jimmy wanted Steven to come over and play a little bit because I think he was trying to light a fire under Robert."
Rumors of a Zeppelin reunion tour have abounded since the iconic band played a single reunion set last year at London's O2 Arena. Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider added fuel to the fire last month when he revealed that the group was thinking of touring, with or without Plant.
According to Snider, the rest of the band told Plant, " 'We're all rehearsed, we're ready to go. Here's a gazillion dollars on the table. If you don't do it, we're going out with this kid [Myles Kennedy].' "
"And he can sing the sh-- out of Zeppelin," Snider added. "They're going to hope that Robert, at the last minute, will go, 'OK,' and step in."
In a recent interview, Jones told BBC Radio Devon that a new singer was being sought to take over for Plant. "We are trying out a couple of singers," he said. "We want to do it. It's sounding great, and we want to get on and get out there."
But Jones insists that he, Page and Bonham aren't interested in finding a Plant clone. "It's got to be right," he said. "There's no point in just finding another Robert. You could get that out of a tribute band, but we don't want to be our own tribute band. There would be a record and a tour, but everyone has to be onboard."
Of course, even if Zeppelin were to approach him, Cornell might be too busy to take over vocals for the band. His upcoming Timbaland-produced solo LP, Scream, will be released within the next few months. Cornell told MTV News last month that some of his fans might consider Scream something of a departure, but he doesn't see it that way.
"It makes me happy that there's this perception that I have a group of fans that I'm now sort of throwing a curve at and what their reaction will be," he said. "But I've been in this situation so many times already. When I put out [1999's] Euphoria Morning, my main goal was to create an album that sounded like nothing I'd done in Soundgarden, and I did that. I also had that with Temple of the Dog, where I showed up with songs that weren't necessarily riff-based. And then, of course, the pairing of me and members of Rage Against the Machine had everyone sort of speculating about what that would sound like.
"It feels like I've done this so many times that when it's presented to me as being a departure, I feel that's a misconception," he added. "I feel like that's my theme at this point."

Miley Cyrus Forces Billy Ray to Cancel 'The View' Appearance
Miley Cyrus was understandably less than thrilled when her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, told GQ magazine that he blames Hannah Montana for destroying the Cyrus fam. Now, according to PopEater, the 18-year-old singer/actress has demanded that Billy Ray withdraw from an upcoming appearance on The View, where he was reportedly planning to reveal even more about the famous family's troubles.
"When Miley found out her father was scheduled to appear on The View on Wednesday she went nuts," the source claims. "Only last week, Billy shot his mouth off in GQ, and now he planned to sit down with (Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg) and talk more crap about his family. No way would Miley or her team let that happen."
In the wake of Miley's salvia-smoking scandal, Billy Ray tweeted that he "had no idea" and was "so sad." Miley has admitted she "made a mistake" experimenting with drugs, but that didn't stop the teen idol's reputation from taking quite a hit. The studio producing her upcoming movie LOL was so worried about the bong controversy that they demanded some "editing magic" be performed to completely remove Miley from a pot-smoking scene in the film. We don't blame Cyrus (or her "handlers") for not wanting any more bad press surrounding the starlet!
According to PopEater's source: "At first Miley defended her dad, wanting to believe he had been tricked into saying bad things (in the GQ interview). Miley truly wanted to give her father the benefit of the doubt, goodness knows she's said things she wishes she could take back. But after she found out about his media trip to New York, no more excuses could be made."
Billy Ray reportedly listened to his daughter and canceled his talk-show appearance -- so no more Cyrus family secrets will be released to the press (at least for now). We sure hope Miley and her dad can work things out, or at least keep the personal drama behind closed doors!
Do you think Miley is right to be upset about her dad talking about family problems in the press? Chime in below!

A member of No Doubt since the ska band's inception, guitarist Tom Dumont welcomed another member into his family early morning Saturday (February 19) with the birth of his third child, Koa Thomas Dumont, according to an announcement on the popular band's Twitter page.
"Koa Thomas Dumont was born this morning at 5am. Baby boy & parents are great," the band tweeted. "Looks like his brothers! One more No Doubt baby in the world!"
Koa Thomas joins Dumont's other two children, all with wife Mieke, siblings Ace Joseph (4) and Rio Atticus (2). He also joins a growing brood of No Doubt children (all the band members have kids), including Adrian Young's son Mason, bassist Tony Kanal's daughter Coco Reese, and Gwen Stefani's two sons with husband Gavin Rossdale, Kingston and Zuma.
"Congratulations to Tom and Mieke on the arrival of Baby Boy Koa!" read a message from band mates Tony, Gwen, and Adrian on Twitter. "We are so happy for you! Can't wait to meet him!!!"
2011 should be a busy year for No Doubt. Ten years after their last studio album, the band spent 2010 writing and recording their decade-in-the making follow-up.
"This process does take us awhile, it always has. Plus life is a little more complicated and busy than it was before we all had kids etc," Dumont wrote on the band's website on January 4. "So the goal is to write a couple songs more this year and of course finish recording all of them. We're really, really happy with the new songs and feel this great sense of momentum going into the new year."

Justin Bieber Abortion Quotes Explained By Rolling Stone Writer
Bieber's quotes about rape and abortion continue to stir up controversy.
By Gil Kaufman
Justin Bieber on the March 2011 cover of <i>Rolling Stone</i>
Photo: Terry Richardson/ Wenner Media
The new issue of Rolling Stone magazine raised eyebrows for a number of reasons. Not only does it feature a cover image of teen dream Justin Bieber with his signature mop top teased up into spikes, but the accompanying interview has the controversy-shy 16-year-old "Never Say Never" singer weighing in on a number of contentious topics, including abortion.
When RollingStone.com posted excerpts from the cover story on Tuesday, it initially left out a key phrase that is included in the print edition of the mag that slightly misrepresented Bieber's feelings on sex, pregnancy and abortion.
In the article, the writer states that Bieber is "definitely" against abortion, quoting him as saying, "I really don't believe in abortion. ... I think [an embryo] is a human. It's like killing a baby." When the writer asks if that also refers to incidents of rape, Bieber replies, "Um ... well I think that's just really sad. ..."
By Wednesday, the site added this explanation: "Due to an editing error, this rollingstone.com news item originally included an incomplete quote from our Justin Bieber cover story. The actual quote, which appears in full in the March 3 print edition of Rolling Stone, reads: 'Um. Well, I think that's really sad [referring to abortion], but everything happens for a reason. I don't know how that would be a reason. I guess I haven't been in that position, so I wouldn't be able to judge that.' For the record: Bieber was quoted correctly by writer Vanessa Grigoriadis in her feature."
The original version of the quote that appeared online did not contain the phrase "I don't know how that would be a reason."
Grigoriadis spoke to Popeater.com on Thursday about the backlash against Bieber's quotes about rape, which the story seemed to imply he thinks "happens for a reason."
"I think he meant that God has a plan," the writer told the site. "Even for the most die-hard Christian, it's hard to justify rape as part of God's plan, and harder to justify rape that leads to pregnancy and abortion. I think he was wrestling with that in his answer, which I found to be solid and logical. I think it is being widely misunderstood. He did not say that rape was part of God's plan."
Asked whether Bieber was mature for his age, Grigoriadis agreed with something Bieber's manager said about his famous client. "Scooter Braun was right when he said to me that Justin sometimes seems like a 16-year-old going on 14 and other times like a 16-year-old going on 32," she said, adding that she thought it was fair game to ask the singer about such topics as premarital sex, abortion and politics because of the cultural impact Bieber has had in his short time in the public eye.
"I think that anyone who has as much sway in popular culture as Justin should be asked all questions," she said. "I agree that he does not bring up these issues in his work at the moment, but it's possible that he will in the future, as he decides that he wants the public to know more about him."
Do you think Justin Bieber's views on serious issues like abortion and sex matter? Sound off in the comments!

Russell Brand, Willow Smith, Jonah Hill are just a few stars looking to revamp film and TV classics like 'Arthur', 'Annie' and '21 Jump Street.'

What do Willow Smith and Beyoncé have in common with Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill and Kenny Wormald? They're all starring (or in talks to star) in the latest round of remakes of beloved films and TV shows coming down the pike.
On Thursday, news broke that Beyoncé would be starring in a Clint Eastwood-directed remake of the 1976 Barbra Streisand classic "A Star Is Born" (which was a remake of a 1954 movie that remade a 1937 film). In the meantime, Will Smith is reportedly petitioning Sony to remake "Annie" (the 1982 movie and 1977 musical) starring his 10-year-old daughter, Willow, best known for whipping her hair.
In October it was announced that Leonardo DiCaprio and best bud Tobey Maguire would be starring in Baz Luhrmann's 3-D retelling of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel "The Great Gatsby," with Carey Mulligan joining as Daisy Buchanan.
Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum have been working on bringing the '80s Johnny Depp-starring television series "21 Jump Street" to the big screen since 2008, and they might even get Depp to cameo in it in time for the film's March 16, 2012, release date.
And let's not forget the long hunt for a Ren McCormack (the character Kevin Bacon made famous in 1984), after Zac Efron and Chace Crawford dropped out of the planned "Footloose" remake that finally landed dancer Kenny Wormald the role of his life.
Then there's "Arthur," the Russell Brand-starring remake of the 1981 screwball comedy about a happily drunk millionaire who risks everything for love. The film has tapped everyone from Helen Mirren to Greta Gerwig and Nick Nolte.
Two recently announced remakes are "Lethal Weapon" and "The Wizard of Oz," which are still in early development and without stars attached. Warner Bros. announced their plans to reboot the Mel Gibson-starring franchise on Thursday and tapped writer Will Beall to pen the script with completely new characters. And director Robert Zemeckis announced back in November that he planned on remaking the 1939 Technicolor classic using the script from the original film, with Warner Bros. hoping Robert Downey Jr. will play Oz.
Just this past year, films from "Clash of the Titans" to "The Karate Kid" to "A Nightmare on Elm Street" were remade for the big screen and were well-received by audiences. "Alice in Wonderland" and "Clash of the Titans" went on to become two of the top 10 highest-grossing films of 2010, while "Piranha 3D" and "The A-Team" also went on to strong successes, proving that there definitely is a market for these kinds of remakes.

Len Lesser, 'Seinfeld' Actor, Dies At 88

Actor Len Lesser, best known for his "Seinfeld" role as good-natured, cantankerous Uncle Leo, passed away Wednesday morning in Burbank, California, from cancer-related pneumonia. He was 88.
Reuters reported that Lesser was admitted to a rehabilitation center near his home several weeks ago. His family said he died in his sleep after breakfast and told CNN that his passing was "very peaceful."
"Heaven got a great comedian and actor today," daughter Michele Lesser told the New York Daily News. "The outpouring of sympathy we've already received has been amazing and is so greatly appreciated. Thank you to all the people who helped make my father's last journey special and surrounded with love."
The veteran actor appeared in only 15 episodes of "Seinfeld," but made a memorable mark as the cheapskate uncle best known for saying "Jerry! Hello!" whenever he saw his nephew. Lesser also had a running appearance on "Everybody Loves Raymond" as Garvin, a friend of Raymond's father who always lifted his arms in excitement when he saw the title character in a reference back to his stint on "Seinfeld."
In addition to his long television career as a bit actor, Lesser also served in the army during World War II and worked in film alongside Hollywood heavyweights like Clint Eastwood, Steve McQueen, Lee Marvin, Dustin Hoffman, Barbara Streisand and Donald Sutherland. The role of propofol has loomed large in Michael Jackson's sudden 2009 death, and according to an investigator, copious amounts of the surgical anesthetic were found in the superstar's home.
During the latest round of testimony at the preliminary manslaughter hearing for Jackson's physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, on Friday (January 7), an investigator for the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office testified that a dozen bottles of propofol were discovered in Jackson's home, according to TMZ. One of the two bottles found in the singer's bedroom was empty, and investigators also found a slew of at least 10 other types of medication, including lorazepam, hydrocodone and lidocaine.
The mother of one of Murray's children, Nicole Alvarez, also testified and said the doctor sent several packages to her home from April to June 2009. While the packages' contents were not revealed in court, TMZ has reported that the parcels contained propofol and were sent from Murray's Las Vegas pharmacy.
Another one of Murray's girlfriends, Sade Anding, gave notable testimony. Anding said she received a five-minute phone call from Murray around 12:30 p.m., during which he abruptly stopped talking after exchanging brief small talk. Anding said she heard "coughing and voices," and the line sounded as if he had placed the phone in his pocket. However, according to phone records, the only time Murray called Anding that day was at 11:51 a.m., which would have meant that Murray waited about 25 minutes to call 911 once he recognized Jackson needed emergency assistance.
Murray has pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of involuntary manslaughter, and his lawyers are reportedly planning to claim Jackson killed himself by self-administering a lethal dose of propofol.

Justin Bieber Speaks on Sex! Abortion! Politics!
Somewhere between funny talk show interviews and award ceremonies, Justin Bieber found time this month to sit down with Rolling Stone.
Aside from quickly closing his computer as soon as the reporter commented on a wallpaper photo of himself and Selena Gomez in front of a sunset (AWWW!), Justin touched on a number of topics. Many of them controversial. Check out his views on sex, abortion and Canada below.
On intercourse: "I don't think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them. I think you should just wait for the person you're... in love with."
On abortion: "I really don't believe in abortion. It's like killing a baby?"
What if it's the result of rape? "Well, I think that's really sad, but everything happens for a reason. I guess I haven't been in that position, so I wouldn't be able to judge that."
On health care: "Canada's the best country in the world. We go to the doctor and we don't need to worry about paying him, but here [America], your whole life, you're broke because of medical bills. My bodyguard's baby was premature, and now he has to pay for it. In Canada, if your baby's premature, he stays in the hospital as long as he needs to, and then you go home."
